My natural deodorant story did not start out great and I almost gave up! I wanted to switch to something natural and let me tell you I tried all the big brands. I still smelt, I soaked through my shirts, AND had thee most awful rash for over a year!! I finally realized it was the baking soda in those deodorants! So then I tried to find some without the baking soda, they didn’t work at all and almost made me sweat more! So when I came across green and lovely I was honestly hesitant. But seeing that it was a probiotic and no baking soda I figured it was worth a try! My first reaction was not too quite sure having a cream deodorant that I use my hands to apply but after while you just get use to it! And the product lasts so long! I do not smell, sweat, or need to reapply. I tried both the lavender and citrus mint, and they both have a pleasant smell! The fact that there is no baking soda and it makes my under arms feel smooth and no rash is a win in my book! I will never go back to anything else! I would recommend to absolutely everybody! When my daughter gets to where she needs to start using deodorant, I will be having her use this one, knowing it is absolutely safe!

I’ve been testing this for 2 days now and I think I like it. I’ve been on a hunt for a natural, organic deodorant that I don’t have to keep reapplying. It must be the probiotic in this one that makes it a good deodorant. It’s quickly making it to the top of my favorite clean deodorants! It could be better if it came in a squeeze-type of packaging like the Type:A deodorant I also own, but other than that, it’s a good product!

This is the first natural deodorant that not caused irritation to my underarms. I have tried several different brands and threw them away due rashes, redness and inflammation after a couple of uses. I have been using this product for approximately one year. The citrus/mint scent is also pleasant.

Best deodorant ever! I've been using this product for a couple of years and it is effective and never caused any skin irritation. I've tried so many other natural deodorants, even other zinc oxide based ones, and all were disappointing in either their effectiveness or they caused skin problems for me. With other deodorants I could only use them for a month or two and they began to smell weird on me or stop working. I love the scents (both- but the citrus mint is my fav). Thank you, Thank you for formulating something that has consistent, long-term effectiveness and is good for my sensitive skin.

I have both scents. This has a soft mint smell with light citrus. My husband even likes to use this one. A dab will do ya, and it lasts all day long.

I have used both scents, and they are both amazing! They offer good coverage, they're all natural (most OTC deodorants have aluminum and other carcinogens in them), and one jar actually last quite a while. It's healthy for us to sweat and most deodorants are antiperspirants that block sweating, which is unhealthy. That's why you may find that when you switch to a natural deoderant you may feel like you're sweating more or are more smelly, but once your body has time to detox and get all of that backed up sweat/secretions out of you, you'll naturally start to smell better (keep in mind your overall health and diet have a lot to do with what your sweat smells like as well and no deoderant is a "cure all"). I love these deodorants and I don't think I'll switch up anytime soon.

Love this deodorant!
I’ve tried a bunch of natural deodorants so when I heard green + lovely was making one I was super excited to grab it. Citrus mint didn’t sound like my first scent choice but being the only deodorant at first I decided to try it and I’m so glad I did! It’s a very light scent that truly does keep you smelling fresh. The formula is super creamy, thicker than lotion but not as thick as toothpaste. It smooths on well with the included tiny plastic applicator (or your fingertips or a popsicle stick). Normally I don’t like when people say a little goes a long way because it sounds like a total marketing gimmick but let me tell you a little truly goes a long way with this deodorant! You only need about a pea sized amount total for both arms per application. I’ve had my jar probably close to a year and it’s only about half empty. Highly recommend as well as the other scent!

It Really Works
A friend of mine recommended I try this deodorant and I'm so glad I did. It actually works! This is the only all natural one I found that works. It's in a little glass jar and you have to use your fingers which is different but so what. The packaging doesn't waste anything, it's all natural and vegan, doesn't contain aluminum & it works!

I’ve tried so many non-toxic deodorants but either break out or stink - this is the first that actually works for me! I didn’t think I would like the citrus mint but it quickly became a favorite! Just ordered two more jars of this so I don’t run out like I did! So happy I found this stuff!

I’ve tried quite a few natural deodorants, and G+L is by far my favorite! It leaves me smelling fresh, and is also skin friendly. Bonus, it doesn’t discolor my armpits, like other natural deodorants!

Pleasantly Surprised
I have tried other natural deodorants with no luck and they were either ineffective or oily or smelly.
G+L has done it again with another outstanding formulation. At first application I thought it would be oily, but once applied and you work it in, it shifts to a mate powder finish. To my surprise as well, it has a cooling effect. Aroma is lovley and understated. I would love to see, in the future a classic vanilla aroma. Thank you Sam! ;)

Excellent natural deodorant
I am a week into using this deodorant and it is wonderful so far! The application is smooth with a powdery finish. It’s not crumbly or cakey. It doesn’t stain your clothes either. I was worried about switching from a traditional antiperspirant & deodorant combo because I was afraid of getting smelly and sweaty, but that hasn’t happened at all! One application is more than sufficient for the whole day. I am hoping for some new smells in the future.
